As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Boathouse Connect, you will be responsible for testing new features for bugs as well as periodic regression testing each of our platforms and APIs. When bugs are found, you will report them in our project tracking tool and work with our engineering team to help resolve them.
2 years experience as a rower, coxswain, or rowing coach
Ability to describe issues found clearly enough for someone else on the team to reproduce the issue
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with Linux command line
Experience with software project tracking tools (Jira, YouTrack, ClickUp, etc.)
Working knowledge of scripting languages (PHP, python, etc.)
All of the nice-to-haves are exactly that... Nice to have. Knowledge or experience with these items is not required and
will not be penalized in our selection process. We will train you on anything you don't have experience in.
Things you may do
Perform post-deployment testing after each release to ensure that new features are working as expected
Full regression test of each of our platforms once per month to identify bugs before our users find them
Work with our engineering team to test complex features/fixes in multiple environments
Extensively test new features and bug fixes in lower environments to ensure they meet the pre-determined acceptance criteria.
$20/hour for 0-10 hours per week
